The Foundation for Community Health has been very helpful to Grace Immigrant Outreach in affording very generous grants. The unsolicited grants have been utilized for the purchase of culturally accurate foods for the Guatemalan and Mexican populations. These foods are distributed at La Mesa (La Mision Episcopal Santiago Aposto) located in Dover Plains. The funds are also utilized for the installation of internet service. The Asylees had/have a difficult time obtaining internet service for themselves and for the education of their children during the pandemic. With this service, we can have Zoom English classes until we are once again able to have these classes in person.
