Addressing Nonprofit Critical Needs through Rapid Response Grants

Approximately 95% of the funds will be used to purchase food at area grocery stores to supplement what is available from the CT Food Bank. The balance will be spent on Personal Protective Equipment for volunteers and on paper towels and cleaning products necessary for safe operation of the food pantry at this time. It is unknown how long the special safety measure will be needed and the high level of demand for food will continue.
