Continuing Grant Management for Recreational Improvements
FCH maintained our investment in the Village of Millerton with a second year of funding to support the work of a grants manager to steward significant state funding and build capacity to hand sizable grants going forward.
The volunteer-led committee that worked to revitalize Eddie Collins Memorial Park in Millerton, NY raised over $9 million in donations and grants to embark on the final phase of the restoration, bringing a public pool back to the park. Due to the scale and nature of the project and funds, the Village required a grants manager to follow the requirements and compliances of the grants. The scope of the contracted position included generating policies and procedures around stewarding large grants, allowing the municipality to navigate future funding of this nature.
