Supporting Medical Education of Sharon Hospital Staff

At the time of the sale of Sharon Hospital in 2003, the Peter H. Smith Fund was transferred to FCH. The revenue generated from the fund was used for annual events that congregated speakers, scholars, and public health experts, and later, to a responsive grant program for medical education. The remaining dollars are being granted back to Sharon Hospital to serve their original purpose to further the medical education of the staff there.
