FCH approved grant funds to support the Northwest Connecticut Library Digital Navigation Collaborative, with Scoville Memorial Library stewarding the funds, which will work to close the digital divide by strengthening the skills and confidence of residents to use internet services.

Seven libraries in northwest Connecticut spent the past three years laying the groundwork for this Digital Navigator Program, a significant undertaking that required a regional approach to sustain. This collaborative approach will support two part-time Digital Navigators who will rotate across the libraries to provide one-on-one support, group workshops, and potentially off-site programming at senior centers and community events.
