For over fifteen years, the focus of the Center of Compassion has been to provide healthy, nutritious foods to those in need. What began as a small pantry program, now operates and oversees a thrift store, as well as a variety of food relief programs.

FCH is sponsoring a four-part series presented by the Universal Health Care Foundation:   "Beyond COVID: Connecting Communities, Health and Care," focusing on how COVID has led to organizations working in new ways across silos to meet people's needs.

To provide door-to-door transportation for non-emergency medical appointments for those in need (particularly for the elderly and the disabled) in order to increase access to health-related services as well as social and shopping opportunities for residents.

The FCH Prescription Assistance Fund is a program that helps to pay for prescription drugs, premiums for prescription drug insurance, and/or prescription drug co-pays.  This Program will allow up to $350.00 per eligible applicant per month.

General operating support for work that addresses the effects of social determinants of health for 3 years with approval annually.

Funding for the Hudson Valley Food System Coalition, a project organized by the Community Foundations of the Hudson Valley, operates through an interest group model, which function as the ‘engine’ of the coalition.
