The Medical Education Fund identifies and supports learning opportunities for health care providers across disciplines on community health-related issues. It was established by pooling two funds, the Peter H. Smith Fund and the Elizabeth McCall Fund. Dr. Powell’s 2018 presentation detailed the epidemiology of male health disparities and specific barriers to healthcare utilization along with strategies for increasing male healthcare engagement.
