Funding was approved for Housatonic Valley Regional High School, part of Region 1 School District, to continue work on building a safe, secure, and inclusive school environment.
Housatonic Valley Regional High School began their work with Dr. Corrado, principal of Doing the Work, in 2023 starting with a Bias Incident Reporting System, a Community Mapping Project, and various workshops with faculty and students. The institution continued this work into 2024 and beyond, furthering the investment in social-emotional health and academic success of students in our region, and cementing the necessary infrastructure for cultivating a safe learning invironment.
